17 MAY 2025 (ATLANTA, GEORGIA) — Chicago-bred, now Atlanta-based rising artist Dakota Unique joins forces with Atlanta hip-hop heavyweight Sonny Digital on her compelling new single, "BILLS." Known for his monumental production work with artists like Drake and Future, Sonny steps into the rapper role on this track, delivering dynamic verses alongside Dakota. "BILLS" offers catchy lyrics and a unique blend of their individual styles, showcasing a fresh and collaborative energy that highlights their combined artistry.

ABOUT DAKOTA UNIQUE:
There is no coincidence that Dakota Unique is her birth-given name. Recognizing Dakota’s star quality early, her mother introduced her to the stage at 9 years old. Dakota would gain her first taste of entertaining an audience while appearing in hair shows across the Midwest. The East Chicago, Indiana native took her talents to the next level by deciding to start a musical career at the age of 14. Jumping into the local scene; Dakota appeared in many talent shows and open mics to showcase her performance skills. Her high-energy performance matched her higher-energy sound and quickly caught the eye of DJs across northwest Indiana and Chicagoland. After much encouragement from Chicago’s Power 92 radio host Seandale Hunley, Dakota submitted music and was accepted for VH1’s talent scouting TV show “Singed”.
From here she would have her first introduction to network television, appearing alongside legendary hip-hop names including Rick Ross and The Dream. After exiting the show Dakota continued to pursue her musical career by moving to Atlanta, Georgia. The young rapper, songwriter, engineer, and producer quickly gained popularity working in studios across Atlanta; eventually gaining the attention of Lil Keed and the YSL family. Today, Dakota continues to break barriers with her evolving sound. Now in the middle of unloading a list of singles, there is much more to come from this future star!
